Emergency service outside opening hours practice:
Outside our regular opening hours, on public holidays and weekends (Saturday and Sunday) we work together with Tandartsspoedpraktijk in the CBT in Leiderdorp for our emergency service. For all pain complaints and/or emergencies that cannot wait until the next working day, you can contact Tandartsspoedpraktijk on telephone number 0900-8602 (€0.90 per call).

Please take the following into account:

  • Always keep your BSN (or that of the person for whom you want to make an appointment) at hand and the name of your own dental practice. Tandartsspoedpraktijk needs this to be able to schedule an appointment.
  • you must bring a valid ID.
  • you must pay the invoice immediately after treatment (preferably by PIN or credit card).
  • The cost of emergency treatment is the same as the cost of regular dental treatment. These costs are determined by the Dutch Healthcare Authority (https://puc.overheid.nl/nza/doc/puc715186_22/).
  • statutory surcharges may apply in connection with evening, weekend shifts and public holidays.
  • you will always receive an invoice from Tandartsspoedpraktijk.
  • If you have supplementary dental insurance, you can claim your invoice from your health insurer afterwards. For information about reimbursements from your supplementary insurance, you should consult your own health insurer.
  • Children up to the age of 18 who urgently need a dentist can get the costs partially or fully reimbursed from the basic insurance.

In addition, it is important to know:

  • Tandartsspoedpraktijk does not have a patient file on you and cannot view it, which is why Tandartsspoedpraktijk will limit itself to providing first aid, for any follow-up treatments you will always be referred back to your own dentist.
  • after the treatment, the dentist on duty will e-mail the treatment report and any X-rays to your own dentist so that he can take over the treatment again, this will be sent to your dental practice via secure e-mail (Lifeline).
